TV magnet Nerja

NERJA continues to grab the attention of TV and production companies to record shows and advertisements. 

Canal Sur recorded a new piece for the TV show ‘Salud al dia’, a public service programme, which aims to promote a healthy lifestyle. On this occasion, the advert was filmed by the Chillar River and Nerja coast. 

In previous episodes chosen themes were Nerja Caves, Maro and its surroundings, and area bike trips.

Furthermore, the variety show ‘El Gran Queo’ was recorded at the town’s cultural centre. 

The previous week, another episode of the TV show was filmed with guest stars from the area including Nuria Fergo (pictured), who hit the headlines after starring in music reality show  Operacion Triunfo, Antonio Cortes and Miguel Joven. 

Isabel Nestares, a journalist from Granada, was in charge of covering these stories with the co-operation of Nerja Council and the local Civil Protection unit.

Other events that are putting Nerja on the map include a fashion shoot by photographer Simone Schneider for a German company in the streets of the town centre.
