Vito Mannone calls for a refund

Sunderland goalkeeper Vito Mannone called for fellow players to pay for refunds to the fans that travelled to Southampton to watch the 8-0 defeat.

Southampton demolished Sunderland in a recent clash on Saturday after equalising the biggest defeat in premier league history which was even worse for fans who had travelled 653.4 miles to watch their club play.

Sunderland fans were appalled and disappointed as they watched three players from their own side cause three of the goals that were scored against them with Santiago Vergini scoring an astonishing own goal, along with an own goal from Liam Bridcutt and a fatal error caused by the Italian goalkeeper Mannone allowing another goal.

Southampton are currently the team to watch in the premier league with manager Ronald Koeman receiving manager of the month for October, as well as Pelle receiving player of the month.

Although fans of the Black Cats were incredibly disappointed with the result and the 11 hour journey, Sportsmail reported that the fans they caught up with would definitely be back to home and away games because that’s “what you do.”
