Tough week for Cheryl Fernandez-Versini

X-Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has not had the best of weeks after being criticised for her style choices, having to intervene with squabbling contestants and then losing two of her girls in a double elimination.

It all started when it was rumoured that all four of the girls group she is currently mentoring on popular UK talent show, The X-Factor, were at each others throat after a spat between controversial character Chloe Jasmine Whichello and Lauren Platt after Chloe’s demand for a personal stylist rubbed Lauren the wrong way.

Arguments continued to flow between Lauren and Stephanie Nala as well as Chloe and fishmonger Lola which caused Cheryl to step in and pull the girls to one side.

This was only the beginning of a tough week for Cheryl, as after appearing in a green one shouldered Lavin gown during Saturday’s live show, she was taunted repeatedly by both fellow judges and the online community with #CherylKermit trending on Twitter.

If that wasn’t enough, the Geordie beauty lost not one, but two of her contestants on Sunday. Stephanie Nala was eliminated for receiving the least public votes, just before Chloe Jasmine Whichello was booted off after her unsuccessful attempt to impress the remaining judges, in a sing off against Louis Walsh’s eight man boy band Stereo Kicks.
