MALAGA city and the Costa del Sol are on orange alert for heavy rain.
According to the website Aemet, the alert is active for October 14 when the heavy October rains are forecast to fall in abundance, with the anticipated rain fall to go as high as 30mm per hour between midnight and 6am.
