Fastighetsbyrån has been in Spain since 2008, and they are currently setting up a network of offices along the Mediterranean coast, in Mallorca and the Canary Islands. “Most of our clients are Scandinavian, but we are open to everyone,” said Stefan. “Scandinavians, and especially Swedish citizens, can take advantage of the fact that there was no crisis for them and in addition to that, the interest rates are very good at present, so buying an overseas property is indeed a good investment.

In addition to that, the fairs organised twice a year in three main cities help customers familiarise themselves with different areas as well as properties.

In general they look for two bedroom, medium-size apartments with a large terrace and a sea view. They like Palma old town. So we try to search for properties with those specifications,” added Stefan.

The island itself with its beautiful typical villages, a share of sea and mountains, more than 20 golf courses and a city with lots of culture and history does not need any marketing.

“Our ultimate aim is to accommodate our customers’ wishes and requirements for a holistic solution to buying a property,” said Stefan.
