Grisly bus discovery

THE Guardia Civil has opened an investigation after the discovery of a foetus on a bus that runs between Almeria and Barcelona.

Officers have revealed that the foetus was found by staff as they cleaned the on-board toilet.

Specifically, the foetus was found in the waste collection tank. The find was reported to the Guardia Civil who started an immediate investigation.

However, the bus makes frequent stops because the journey takes between 15 and 16 hours.

The body has been transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Almeria where it will undergo a post-mortem examination.
