Boat missing in Alboran Sea

MARITIME Rescue units are searching for a boat with 50 immigrants on board close to the island of Alboran.

The search was activated after a call alerted the emergency services to a boat which had left Al Hoceima in Morocco.

Maritime Rescue launched two boats and two aircraft to look for the vessel. During the course of the search, Maritime Rescue located another boat with 25 Moroccan men on board but the search for the original vessel continues.
