LOCAL POLICE have launched an investigation to find the whereabouts of a missing teen.
Guardia Civil and Local Police officers in Sevilla are looking into the disappearance of a 16-year-old who reportedly went missing on Monday, September 22. Paula Diaz Muñoz was reported as missing by her family on Monday afternoon after she failed to return home from school.
At the time of her disappearance Paula, who is from Sevilla, was wearing a pair of jeans and a red and black checked shirt. She is 1.55 metres tall, has dark brown hair and wears black-rimmed glasses.
A friend of her family told Europa Press Paula had left home on Monday morning at 8am to go to school – Instituto Mateo Aleman in San Juan de Aznalfarache – but did not return home after classes were over. However, school authorities said the teen had not turned up to school on Monday or for a few days the previous week.
Paula’s family have been putting up missing posters in nearby towns, including La Puebla del Rio and Coria del Rio and are asking anyone who may have information about Paula to call +34 666 050 348.
