BOOKINGS for September and October for Mallorca have risen by 24 per cent compared to last year.
That’s according to Spain’s largest accommodation booking site Hotelbeds which says nowhere else is in such demand, apart from Benidorm on the Costa Blanca on the mainland, followed by Tenerife and the Costa del Sol.
However it doesn’t mean hotels will be opening for longer.
Far from it, more so than ever hotels are closing their doors as renovation plans are underway.
As reported previously in the Euro Weekly News, there a €150 million planned investment this winter to further strengthen Mallorca’s leading position in the coming year.
