THE average person spends nearly a year of their life hungover.
Macmillan Cancer Support surveyed 2,000 British adults and found that one in 14 will have more than 3,000 hangovers in their life time.
An estimated 315 days of their lives are lost as a result of over drinking.
The survey found that people from the north of Britain were more likely to suffer, with 22 per cent of people likely to have more than four hangovers each month compared to 15 per cent of southerners.
Men even admitted to having missed dates, interviews, weddings and funerals as a result of their hangover.
