Come and visit family run Bar Rosita for a taste of Calvia life

ROSITA’S: The perfect venue for a private party.

BAR ROSITA is a family run bar-restaurant in Calvia village. The bar has been a part of Calvia village life for many years, but in 2006, Tony Roig took it over, with the desire to bring a slice of quaint Calvia village life to people across Mallorca, both residents and tourists.

Tony is a native Spaniard with fluent English, and with his partner Ann, they welcome everyone with open arms – all the food is home cooked and prepared on the premises, so you are guaranteed a fresh and tasty meal every time.

Bar Rosita is open for lunch and evening meals, serving a variety of food from traditional Spanish tapas to traditional British Pie & Chips. Friday night is Rosita’s famous Fish & Chips night – one of the original places to offer it and guaranteed the best fish, chips and mushy peas on the island with live music till late. Walk-ins are always welcome, but it really is popular, so booking is advised.

The same goes for the Sunday Roast, which is a fabulous home cooked affair with a choice of chicken, beef or a veggie option served with three veg, all the trimmings and their special Rosita’s gravy. This is served with great live music every Sunday afternoon throughout winter.

Saturdays are Burger & Cocktail night with a selection of homemade burgers again with a veggie option and made to order cocktails.

Sally’s desserts are legendary and include banoffee pie, lemon meringue and much more, including crumble and custard on a Sunday.

Rosita’s has special party nights with live music and a free buffet. Halloween is one of the most popular and not far away.

They also have Sky Sports and show all the big sporting events.

Rosita’s is also great if you’re looking for a venue for a private party. The bar can hold up to 60 people and in the summer you can use the lovely terrace.

Come and join them at Bar Rosita’s – whether it’s your first visit or not, they will make sure that it won’t be your last!
