BEDS & MORE is a new shop brought to you by the team from Yorkshire Linen.
The Yorkshire Linen shop has been selling beds and mattresses for more than three years and as the bed section has become busier and busier, they have simply outgrown the space available in the current Fuengirola store.
So to ensure their customers have the best choice possible, they decided to expand by taking on a huge new store just two doors along from the current showroom.
With their highly competitive prices, superb range and outstanding level of customer care, they are going to work a little magic on the way we all buy our beds.
Using the same ethos which has seen Yorkshire Linen grow into one of the biggest and most trusted names on the coast, they pledge to help you ‘SLEEP YOURSELF HAPPY’!
Remember when you were young or when your kids were small and you would go to a reputable shoe shop to get your feet measured for length and width before selecting your shoes? The helpful shop assistant would be on hand to give sound advice to make sure that the shoes selected were not just the right fit but looked good and were within your budget. That is how beds & more work when it comes to selecting the right bed for you.
While the construction of a mattress is highly important, your personal sleeping style, or position, is also a determining factor in what makes a good mattress for you. Unlike many bed companies, the dedicated staff ensure customers select the right mattress for them, rather than guiding them into buying simply what is in stock at the time.
The staff respect their clients’ needs enough to take the plastic off the mattresses – you may think this is funny but, shockingly, not all bed shops do this – which allows customers to really get the feel of the mattress being tried out. After all, you are looking at making a choice that will affect how you sleep for many years to come.
Mattress technology has moved on so much in the last few years that it can be mind-boggling as to what type to buy and how much to spend, as well as whether or not you should need to replace the base as well.
At beds & more the ethos is to make it as easy as possible to choose the right mattress or bed for you. They have grouped mattresses into four groups: SOFT, MEDIUM SOFT, MEDIUM FIRM and FIRM into comfort stations and advise that you make sure you have a decent amount of time to come in and try out different options. It is a common misconception that just because the mattress is the most expensive in the shop, it will be the best mattress for you, so TRY, TRY and TRY.
The staff have undergone a huge amount of training in order to guide customers through the selection process by asking relevant questions about how you position yourself when sleeping and even going so far as to look at the weight difference between partners, as some mattresses and beds are better than others when one of the partners is a little heavier.
The pillow menu is another difference to many of the bed stores you will find locally, as they have on hand many different pillows. beds & more have everything from the finest goose-down to memory foam so that you can try out the mattresses with a pillow similar to the one you normally favour at home. Or, even better, bring your favourite pillow with you when you come in to test.
The friendly owners want this to be the type of shop that your elderly mum and dad would feel comfortable shopping in.
If you have a rental property, there are plenty of special offers and end of line stock deals to be had; the shop is already brimming with liquidated stock from the SPOT ON DESIGN who were well-known for the high quality rattan garden furniture. All is discounted by 50 per cent or more from the original RRP, with everything from garden bars to patio sets at knockdown prices.
Not only are there beds but there is also a huge selection of rugs – more than 300 designs – many from UK suppliers that you will not find anywhere else in Spain.
If you are looking for ideas for bedside tables, chests of drawers , sofas, tables and chairs, lamps and unusual decoration, then pop in and be inspired! Many languages are spoken in the shop including English, Russian, German and Spanish.
