AN autopsy has be carried out on a 43-year-old woman who was found dead in a cake shop in Almería.
The woman was a resident of the area and had lived and worked in the province for 15 years. She had opened the Berenguel pastry-shop five years ago and according to friends in the area, did not have any enemies and was a very caring mother to her 1 ½-year-old daughter.
Her body was covered in blood when it was found and neighbours say they believe the attackers knew the woman, named Natasha P.
The National Police have yet to confirm the murder weapon, but the neighbours say they are sure the victim was stabbed. Although the motive for the assassination is not known, it is believed that the alleged attackers knew the woman and had been watching her from the street.
