WHEN you need to find a friendly, loving environment for your pet, Llanos de Rosa kennels at Vera are perfectly placed to provide a happy temporary home.
The owner, Manuel, loves animals, and this is very apparent at his kennels on the outskirts of Vera. Manuel started working with animals 36 years ago but it got serious when he began a three year course in Exeter, England, working with guide dogs and visually impaired people to become a guide dog instructor.
Once qualified, Manuel returned to Spain and opened the first ever guide dog centre in Madrid. He travelled to Almeria 20 years ago and made his home, and set up Llanos de Rosa kennels which still has an excellent reputation today.
The dogs are kept in a large indoor environment, and are given plenty of exercise and one-to-one attention. Owners are welcome to bring their pet’s favourite toys, blankets, treats and food if they prefer, and will be reassured when they see how Manuel behaves with their beloved pets. Many customers return year after year with their waggy tailed family members, which is testament to Manuel’s attention and care.
Cats are also catered for, and housed in an area completely separate to the dogs, so there is no upset for your feline friends. They have individual living quarters in an area that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Does your dog have behavioural issues? Manuel can help with this too. Contact him for further information.
Manuel speaks almost perfect English and his prices are extremely competitive including discounts for longer stays.
