Mijas rocks with the Music of the Night

The Mijas mountains were rocking with a sell out concert by Big M Promotions’ Music of the Night 2014.

The concert took place in the Mijas auditorium and was a sell out within days of tickets going on sale. Songs could be heard echoing through the quiet yet ever busy town of Mijas and the surrounding mountains.

Performance host, Stephen Lloyd-Morgan, an International Tenor, was joined on stage by International Soprano Julie-Anne Hunter, together with the amazing voices of Adele Lee Peters, Lucy Indrisie, Raul D’Abreu and Jose Santos.

With amazing talented performers on stage the evening was guaranteed to be a musical spectacular.

With song from all time favourites including The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables the sextet of performers had the audience dancing and singing. Many stood up in the aisles, whilst others were happy to sit back, relax and enjoy the performance whilst joining in.

The duet Master of the House taken from the hit musical Les Miserables had the audience laughing. Performed by Stephen Lloyd-Morgan and Adele Lee Peters, their vocal performance was as equally entertaining as their on stage bantering with each other – first class.

Closing the evening with a collection of hits from the show Mamma Mia, Stephen led the sextet into a performance of disco operatic song and dance, all giving an outstanding show. A dance troop of nine joining the performers on stage before taking dance to the auditorium and encouraging the audience to join in.

The concert finishing on a high, leaving everyone singing and dancing and applauding for more as the concert closed. An absolutely fantastic finale

If you missed the concert you may be able to see it in another performance which is scheduled towards the end of October at the Andalucía Palace. For information check www.slmlive.com
