SKY NEWS is launching a dynamic platform aimed at young people between 16 and 25 where they can talk about subjects and issues that may affect their lives.

According to a poll conducted by Sky News, almost half of the young people in Britain feel that the politicians are not addressing their needs and their voices are not being heard. In the last 40 years, there has been a decrease in younger voters by 25 per cent.

Although social networks are already used by younger people to voice their opinions, the Sky news platform has been set up so that thousands of young people across the country can share their thoughts and increase the spectrum of listeners, forming part of the content of Sky news.

Videos, blogs and hot topics will be uploaded to the website within just a few seconds and shared on the Sky news platform and across social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and Kik.

The webpage is set up to appeal to the younger sector, with four sections to choose from: Hot Topics, Open Mic, News Feeds and Standups. Each one allowing you to voice YOUR opinion  and listen or read other people’s opinions on any one subject.
