Sharing Moments

ALMERIA Province has launched a photography contest in order to encourage and promote active ageing and intergenerational solidarity.

Under the title Shared Moments, the framework hopes to highlight the active role that older people play in society and the alliance of young and old for collaboration and mutual support.

Deputy of Social Welfare Gender and Family, Almudena Valentin, wanted to invite everyone to participate in the Almeria competition, in which the images must transmit values of solidarity, commitment and cooperation between the older and younger generations, as an opportunity to exchange experiences.

Each photograph must be presented with a brief passage of text to explain the image and the context.

This is a nationwide competition in which any resident of Spain can participate.
