Paris Hilton in Marbella

AMERICAN socialite, reality TV star and now music artist Paris Hilton played a DJ set on Monday at the legendary Olivia Valere Discotheque in Marbella.

Ms Hilton, who rose to fame after participating in a series of reality TV shows based around her life, has found fame as a music artist and what better place to showcase her new material to the Costa del Sol’s finest than Olivia Valere.

The singer/DJ began her set at around 2am, with tickets for the night ranging in cost between €70 and €100. Paris will be releasing a new album in the near future, and obligingly played her new material, which has a distinctive electronic sound.

This is the first time that Paris, who usually visits the party island of Ibiza on her visits to Spain, has decided to come and visit the glitterati of Marbella, and it was a great night.

Every night in August in Marbella is lived to the full, and with Paris Hilton thrown into the mix it was a night you would not have wanted to miss.
