Worst possible website for freezing. Unable to read paper at all
We have run tests at our offices but have not been able to replicate the issue. The online editions are stored on an external server so we have to connect via the internet to read them in the same way that you do.
The digital pages load dynamically ie as and when you request them, so while it might appear that the site is not doing anything, it might actually be downloading the next set of pages for you and just appear to be frozen.
If you are accessing the online editions from Spain but via a VPN that routes you through the UK, the issue with the instability might have something to do with the route your internet connection is taking.
While we do have responsibility for our own connection to the internet, we cannot take responsibility for other connections between our servers and your computer.
