King of Pop hits Torrevieja

FANS of Michael Jackson will be thrilled to hear that a tribute show is coming to Torrevieja in late August.

The newly created musical tribute to the King of Pop debuts in Torrevieja on Sunday August 24 at 9,30pm in the Teatro Municipal.

The musical is directed by, and stars, the dancer Domingo Sanchez, already well know in Torrevieja for his many works performed in the Teatro Municipal. Additionally, Sanchez created the promotional video, Flamenco en Torrevieija and assisted in the choreography for dance troupe La Sal de Torrevieja. Recently he has been working with Spanish heartthrob David Bisbal.

The tribute show, titled Michael, the legend, premiers at the Teatro Municipal on August 24 before visiting Alicante, Elche, A Coruña and Sabadell. The show covers Michael Jackson’s career from his young beginnings in Motown along with his brothers as the Jackson Five, through to the start of his solo career with Off The Wall, Bad, HIStory, Dangerous and of course his landmark horror video, Thriller.
