Police arrest ‘stupid’ thieves

The national police service has arrested three people who kidnapped a woman and stole money and items from her.

However the three suspects actually robbed the wrong person after they mistook the registration plate for one they had been already targeting. One of them is reported to have said ““You’ve got the wrong registration plate, this isn’t the girl”.

Yet still they continued with their plan and forced the woman to drive them to her house and give up whatever she had. The thieves made it away with two mobile phones and 250 euros and then left the scene. Fortunately no harm came to the lady with her being made to wear a balaclava when the suspects entered her car in Seville.

After the three criminals left, the victim telephoned the National Police and the three were caught and all belongings returned. The Police also managed to stop the drug ring that the three were involved in, the officers acting quickly on information given to them by the kidnapped woman. It is now in the hands of a judge to decide what charges the three criminals should face.
