A luxury villa that Princess Diana used to use as her getaway spot has been put up for sale. The price tag is a whopping €38 million, making it the most expensive piece of property on the island.
Castillo Mallorca is located on its own private peninsula. The property has a private cave and a private jetty for yachts. It also has a swimming pool, sauna, gym, piano lounge and billiards room.
Diana spent her summers in the massive villa before marrying Prince Charles. The main house contains the ‘Diana Suite’ where the princess spent a great deal of time.
The 1,400 metre property is located about 20 minutes from Majorca’s capital Palma de Mallorca.
Despite the huge price, the agents, German company, Engel & Voelkers, are confident that it will sell. There is already interest from potential buyers from China and Russia. Pop superstar, Madonna, is also reported to be interested.
