Liam Neeson’s nephew critical

Ronan Sexton, the nephew of Irish actor Liam Neeson, has been hospitalised after suffering a serious head injury in a fall on Thursday.

The 31-year-old, son of the actor’s sister Bernadette Sexton,  fell from the top of a seafront telephone kiosk near Brighton Pier while out with friends.

Mr Sexton is now in a critical condition, fighting for his life in the West Sussex hospital.

The news came as the latest upset in the tragic life of Liam Neeson. The 62 year old Irishman lost his wife, actress Natasha Richardson, to a head injury from a skiing accident in Canada five years ago.

In an interview earlier this year, the actor revealed he was still struggling to come to terms with her loss. He said: “Her death was never real, there are periods now in our New York residence when I hear the door opening, especially the first couple of years… anytime I hear that door opening, I still think I’m going to hear her.”
