Nadal chills out before Wimbledon

The World No. 1 tennis player Rafael Nadal took some time out from competing, off the coast of Porto Cristo, Mallorca.

While the 128th edition of Wimbledon is scheduled to kick off on June 23, the 28-year-old was seen relaxing on board an exclusive yacht, as he was joined by his uncle and retired footballer Miguel Angel Nadal.

There was no sign of his long term girlfriend XiscaPerello during the ‘King of Clay’s’low key outing.

Regarding their relationship, a close friend of the couple had said: “Rafa and Xisca are both very shy and ordinary people who like to live simply. They are not at all interested in a celebrity lifestyle. They get together when the tournaments are over. That’s how Rafa winds down.”

Nadal’s2014 French Open victory brought him level with Grand Slam legend Pete Sampra’s 14 singles titles, second only to Federer’s record of 17.

The Mallorca born champ also holds the record for most consecutive titles at a particular tournament after winning his eighth straight Monte Carlo Masters in 2012.
