Irreverent American singer and actress Miley Cyrus played in Barcelona last night (Friday) as part of the European leg of her Bangerz World Tour.
A nearly sold-out Palau Sant Jordi, which can hold up to 16,500 people, was the venue Cyrus chose for her triumphant return to Spain. Her last concert in the country had been back in 2010 at Rock in Rio Madrid.
The Bangerz World Tour, launched in support of her fourth studio album Bangerz, began in Vancouver (Canada) on February 14 and has taken her to many countries around the world, including Germany, Denmark, Finland, and Belgium.
Concert tickets in Barcelona were around €55 and €85 for reserved seats, while general admission tickets cost €60.
Cyrus played a setlist representative of her musical career, including hit songs like Party in the U.S.A., Wrecking Ball, On My Own and Get It Right.
Tomorrow (Sunday) Cyrus will play at the MEO Arena in Lisbon and on Tuesday June 17 in Madrid at the Palacio de Deportes.
