Andy Murray crashes out!

Rafael Nadal has made it through to the French Open final after to a straight-sets win over Andy Murray today.

Spanish Nadal, in superb form, beat the Wimbledon champion 6-3 6-2 6-1 for his place in the Paris final.

The world number stormed through the match and wrapped up the first set with an aggressive display that ended with a fabulous volley.

The Scot failed to gain any real momentum throughout, and was continually put on the defensive by Nadal’s power.

Nadal lived up to his nickname King of Clay as he hammered Murray 6-1 in the final set to set up a well anticipated final with Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic also booked his place in the final earlier in the day, with a four-sets win over Ernests Gulbis.

The world number two took a two-set lead after winning them both 6-3 before Gulbis valiantly fought back in the third.

Djokovic proved his strength in the fourth, winning 6-3 in a match that was over 2 hours long.
