300 new homes for Costa Blanca retirees

The Costa Blanca's Javea offers some amazing views.

Dutch real estate company, Habidrome, has announced plans to invest €200 million in property construction in Denia and Javea. One of the resorts is 200 metres from the yacht club in Denia, and the other two are on the slopes of the Montgo orchards in Javea.

The Denia resort will host 140 luxury apartments. There will also be medical and home care available 24 hours per day. Habidrome said: “These are friendly homes, and ensure the owners autonomy. All properties will be a maximum of five minutes from a supermarket. Plans include a 200 metre pool and a rooftop club house.”

The Javea project is to build 160 town houses. The homes and the supermarket will be within a gated community with tennis courts, paddle courts and two swimming pools. There would also be a social club, a doctor and physiotherapy units.

CEO of Habidrome Living (a subsidiary in Spain of the Dutch company) said: “The Valencian coastline has a special magnetism for retirees. Make no mistake; foreigners want to live here, but they have been slowed by the lack of sheltered accommodation.
