Renfe is offering new services on the AVE high speed train.
Renfe is offering four new services on the AVE high speed train between Madrid and Alicante. The additional trains (two in each direction) will begin on June 15, representing a daily increase of seats of 22%.
Renfe is also changing the schedule, after increasing the commercial speed of 300km for the Alicante -Albacete section.
Since its opening on June 18 last year, the demand for these services has grown steadily, reaching an average occupancy of 80%.
The AVE between Madrid and Alicante, with stops in Villena, Albacete and Cuenca, on certain days has exceeded 6,000 travellers.
