Cruisers: Alicante port will see up to 85,000 cruise passengers arrive next year.
The number of cruise ships arriving at Alicante port next year has been increased to 47. The concessionaire managing cruises in the city, Costa Blanca Port, has expanded the number of arrivals from 35 to 47, potentially bringing up to 85,000 visitors throughout the year. This volume of cruise tourists far exceeds the 48,700 expected this year and 41,861 last year.
The Britannia, owned by P&O is one of the new ships to visit and will make three stops in Alicante next year with P&O’s Ventura scheduled to make five visits with up to 3,000 passengers on board each time.
