Katie Price and Kieran Hayler, not long before news of the affair broke.

Katie Price’s husband Kieran Hayler has broken his silence on his affair with the star’s best friend.

Hayler, a builder/stripper, is speaking out for the first time since it was revealed he had been cheating on pregnant wife Katie.

Today (Thursday) Hayler, 27, took to Twitter to plead with wife Katie, who has turned 36 today, to forgive him.

Hayler said: “Happy birthday to my beautiful wife @MissKatiePrice I love you with all my heart forever and always.

“I will repair your heart and I am looking for the light at the end of the tunnel for our fairy tale ending! Believe in me xx.”

Katie is six months pregnant with the pair’s second child. The couple already have nine-month-old Jett.

The affair was discovered by Katie last month and the celeb took to Twitter to reveal the wrongdoing and vent her anger.

The ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ star blew the whistle on her husband’s seventh month ‘full blown sexual affair’ with ‘best-friend’ 49-year-old Jane Pountney.

She tweeted: “Sorry to say me and kieran are divorcing him and my best friend jane pountney been having a full blown sexual affair for 7 months (sic).”

Ms Price said: “Kieran is a disgusting human being doing this after I’ve just had a baby and still doing it till I caught them.”

She later added: “No human being deserves this especially being 6 months pregnant. Worse pain in the world.”

Kieran’s messages come after Katie posted thoughtful Twitter messages hinting that reconciliation could be on the cards.

Katie said. “HATE has 4 letters, but so does LOVE. ENEMIES has 7 letters, but so does FRIENDS. LYING has 5 letters, but so does TRUTH. HURT has 4 letters, but so does HEAL.”

Katie advised: “Transform every negative energy into an aura of positivity. It’s our perception that makes the difference in the way we feel.”
