David Moyes was reportedly involved in a scuffle.
Recently dismissed Manchester United manager David Moyes is being investigated after claims that he assaulted a 23-year-old man in a Lancashire wine bar.
Allegedly, an incident took place at around 10pm on Wednesday between Moyes, 51, and the man, in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
The alleged altercation took place at the Emporium wine bar.
Reportedly, Moyes was at the venue having a drink with a friend when a “minor scuffle” allegedly took place.
The police were called following reports that Moyes had assaulted the man, who did not require hospital treatment.
According to Lancashire police no-one has been arrested over the incident and there are differing accounts of the event.
Following a catastrophic season, David Moyes was sacked from Old Trafford last month, with player Ryan Giggs stepping in as interim manager for the end of the season.
It has recently been confirmed that Dutchman Louis van Gaal has taken over the club’s management.
