National Police seized 213 cartons of contraband cigarettes from Morocco at Estepona marina.
They were seized from the crew of a sailing ship with an English flag when they were disembarking with three bags containing packages which did not have the stamp proving that taxes on them had been paid.
The ship had been under surveillance since police were tipped off about its possible involvement with illegal activities.
Three men, aged between 23 and 62, were charged with violating contraband laws.
