Improving the quality of life in Orihuela

Emilio Zaplana, councillor for outlying parishes for Orihuela, has detailed the works to be undertaken in the coming months which will “improve the resident’s quality of life”.

The Correntias Altas will be resurfaced and the pavements around the Cruz de Fajardo will be repaired at a total cost of €49,837.

Zaplana commented that these were the most requested by residents as they affected their daily lives.

Among the many other items was the question of the 1,000 square metres surrounding the sports area, El Mudamiento.

This will receive an upgrade to the tune of €8,860; this will be spent on improving the urban furniture and upgrading the pavements.
