British company starts work in Estepona

Work is already underway at Horizon Beach, a new, private residential complex in Estepona.

British housing company Taylor Wimpey has begun the construction of 36 luxury homes near La Galera beach.

This is not the company´s first investment in Andalucia, having previously built Los Arqueros Beach in Marbella and Los Arqueros Golf in Benahavis. The firm also has resorts in Mallorca and on the Costa Blanca.

Designed primarily to appeal to foreign buyers, the two and three bedroom properties will all have sea views and will be surrounded by tropical gardens. The gated complex will also provide residents with a large, private swimming pool and underground parking.

Prices will start at €320,000 and the homes should be finished by the middle of next year. Fifty per cent of the units have already been sold off-plan.
