2014 Grand National – who to back

Who are you backing for this year's Grand National?

We take a peek at some of the runners at Aintree’s 167th Grand National.

Who should you bet on? Here are some of the big contenders:

Mr Moonshine – comes from the Yorkshire stable of Sue and Harvey Smith

Teaforthree – this horse came in third in 2013

Monbeg Dude – co-owned by Mike Tindall

Long Run – will be ridden by amateur Sam Waley-Cohen. This horse – and jockey, both have good records. Long Run won the 2011 Gold Cup.

Rocky Creek – fancied by two time National winner Ruby Walsh

Double Seven – Champion jockey AP McCoy has chosen to ride this Munster National winner.

Swing Bill – He only just scraped in as one of the last of the 40 runners

The Package – came third at Cheltenham

Lion na Bearnai – won the 2012 Irish National

Battle Group – will be ridden by Brendan Powell

But which of these 10 has a good chance of winning?

Good odds of victory include: The Package, Rocky Creek, Teaforthree, Mr Moonshine.
