Joan Collins brightens up Benidorm for series finale

It is not quite the kind of platform that Joan Collins is used to, but the veteran glamorous actress is set to brighten up screens tonight as she makes her debut in the hit series Benidorm.

Perhaps more used to Hollywood five star locations, the 80-year-old actress is set to appear as the CEO of Solana Hotel Group, Crystal Hennesy-Vass, and our Joanie appears to be thrilled to bits.

Prior to filming the series finale, the former Dynasty star posted on social networking site Twitter: “Looking forward to going to Spain to be in #Benidorm , and I’m playing Crystal yes I am !! But not the dynasty one.”

‘Benidorm’ is on ITV tonight (Thursday) at 9pm.
