PEUGEOT has chosen Novak Djokovic as its new international ambassador.
With this partnership, the manufacturer confirms and strengthens its strategy in the tennis world, in a year that also marks the 30th anniversary of the partnership with the French Open, Roland Garros.
Worldwide tennis championship Djokovic currently holds the 2nd ranking in the Association Tennis Professionals (ATP), winning seven titles in 2013 including the Australian Open.
According to Peugeot, he embodies the brand’s values of excellence, allure and emotion.
He said: “I’m happy to represent a great French automobile manufacturer, recognised throughout the world, with an industrial history going back 200 years.
“In my eyes PEUGEOT embodies French elegance, refinement and the expression of a certain art of living”.
