Stop off at La Parada for great food in Garrucha

A NEW YEAR often means a new start for many people and La Parada in Garrucha is no different.

Dirk and his friendly team have introduced new ideas to complement their menu and tapas range.

La Parada is well known for offering a mixture of different foods and opens at 9am with a full choice of breakfast options from a tostada to a full English breakfast.La Parada offers a great lunchtime Menu del dia for €10 which includes a drink, starters, main meal and dessert and is changed daily so there is always something new to try.

There is also an evening menu available throughout the week and also at weekends, priced at €15, including a drink There is a good choice of starters and plenty to choose from the main meals section,which include chicken or steak with a mushroom or pepper sauce, lamb chops, pork chops or salmon. The evening menu also includes a good range of tempting desserts.

La Parada has chosen Thursday night for a theme night and this is going to be a Burger night complemented by a Children’s menu.With burgers freshly made on the premises, diners will be able to choose from a variety of burgers which will appeal to all different tastes.This is a chance for all the family to enjoy a meal together as La Parada will be offering a Children’s menu on the same night.

On Sundays a traditional Sunday roast is available with a choice of meats and all the trimmings.

La Parada has a nice open shaded terrace and a large comfortable indoor dining area as well as a bar area for a drink and a tapa. The restaurant also has a large function room which is ideal for all kinds of functions from weddings and birthdays to business meetings or group meetings of any kind.

Dirk, who hails from Belgium, along with chef Alexsandra and waitress Diana will be happy to help out and will also prepare any special dishes on request.

La Parada is situated on the main road between Las Buganvillas and Garrucha on the right hand side just before you enter Garrucha.
