Thanks for giving Keira a Happy Christmas…

WORKING HARD: Keira undergoing special therapy.

LITTLE Keira Alvarez Turner can have a Happy Christmas thanks to the generosity of the Costa community.

Generous donations from charities and individuals have meant the Cerebral Palsy sufferer from Finestrat has undergone a course of much needed treatments which, says her mother Debbie Turner, have made a huge difference to her life.

Debbie said: ” Keira did absolutely amazing as usual. She did three hours traditional bobath therapy in aspecial therasui. Then an hour each day of either lokomat therapy or athlant suit therapy. It was hard for her but in the end worth it.

“Since being back from the therapy she has seen both her normal physiotherapists and they are both astounded by her progress.

“She has better balance, is using her left hand more, taking better assisted steps and has better trunk control.”

Now Debbie would like to send her thanks to everyone who has helped Keira get ready for her best Christmas ever.

She said: “A big Christmas thanks to Moraira Charity Shop, Original Charity Shop Javea, Eurochange and Liars Bar and also we had three kind donations from Euro Weekly News readers also.

“Without their help this was not possible and we are eternally grateful for this. Merry merry Christmas to you all, my best and biggest present this year has been the support of such a great community for my little Keira throughout this year. I could not think of a better present.”
