FORD’S at Almussafes (Valencia) will export 100,000 Tourneo Connect vans to the US next year.
The impressive volume of exports proves that “things are being done properly,” claimed Ford’s Spanish president Jose Manuel Machado.
Spain has its own place on the car-producing map, Machado said, and is exporting to the US where Ford already has local factories.
These results are entirely due to the employees at the Valencian plant which has adapt itself to the circumstances and acquire new models.
“The level of maturity displayed by the factory’s works committees and employees has been fundamental,” Machado declared.
