Regular sleeping patterns could help keep you slim

GOING to bed and waking up at the same time each day could be the secret to staying slim. Researchers studied more than 300 women, aged 17-26 and found that those with consistent sleeping habits (less than 60 minutes of variation) were slimmer and had less body fat.

The study, published in the American Journal of Health Promotion, found that getting less than six-and-a-half hours, or more than eight-and-a-half hours, sleep a night was also linked to higher levels of body fat.
