SIX families facing eviction in Torrevieja have been offered social rent. With help from the city’s Platform of People Affected by Mortgages (PAH) and the group Stop Evictions, agreements have been made with a bank with contracts signed for the next three years and renewable for a fourth.
The families have been relocated to flats in Calle Villamadrid and Calle Finlandia and will be paying between €80-€120 a month in rent depending on their situation and income.
