THE Costa Blanca flew to London this week.
Jaoquin Albaladejo, who heads the Alicante Diputacion’s Tourism department was amongst those attending the World Travel Market in London.
This is one of the most important trade fairs in the world for the tourist sector and the Costa Blanca contingent were there to network and showcase the province’s 141 municipalities.
The UK is the province’s principal source of clients, who have made 3,187,233 plane journeys to and from the Costa Blanca so far this year. Sixty-seven per cent of British tourists who currently visit the Valencian Community are bound for its resorts, latest statistics show.
