OCTOBER has seen unusually high temperatures recorded in the Vega Baja.
In Torrevieja, highs of 29.3 degrees centigrade were registered, 31 in Rojales and in Orihuela the mercury topped 33 degrees. Alicante also recorded the hottest day in October since 1904.
