Quad bike driver to pay compensation

A QUAD bike driver has been ordered to pay €36,000 in compensation to a passenger who was riding with him.

A court in Murcia found that not only was the bike uninsured but it was designed for only one user at a time. As the driver accepted the passenger to ride on board, knowing that the quad was for one rider only, the courts found him liable for the injuries sustained during their ride.
