THANK YOU: Cancer charities receiving cheques from the charity shop’s Angela McGrath.
THE Calanova Cancer Care Charity Shop raised more than €15,000 .
They sold more than 2000 raffle tickets this year for their Charity Fashion Show at the Santa Ponsa Country Club.
A shop spokesman said the night was a huge success, but the highlight of it all was handing out five cheques to cancer charities AECC, Angels Without Wings, ASPANOB, DIME and the Cancer Support Group this week.
The shop announced that the winners of the raffle will be contacted and a list of winners will be displayed in the shop window.
It would also like to inform the public that in preparation for their new winter stock, they’re having a sale with everything in the store currently priced at just €1.
