HOTELS in Mojacar and Roquetas de Mar have been given a winter boost
They have been included in the 2013-2014 programme of Social Tourism Programme of the Institute for the Elderly and Social Services which starts in December. The tourism sector of Almeria province will receive thousands of pensioners, as in previous editions, and will breathe life in to these two coastal destinations during the off season and will help to maintain employment in the hotel sector of the towns.
This week accredited agencies have started selling holidays available in this edition reaching nearly 900,000 people across the country. In Almeria province there are 40 authorised travel companies selling these holidays, a timely boost when customers looking for holidays are in decline. The programme is for retirees who have at their disposal a full board offer for one or two weeks at subsidised prices ranging from €140 to €400 on the main land and up to €600 in the Canaries. Among the hotels in the province taking part in this programme are the Hotels Playadulce, Portomagno, Playalina, Zoraida Garden, Best Mojacar Indalo and Puerto Marina.
