Grand Theft Auto V is expected the break all sales records.
Grand Theft Auto V is expected to smash records, by selling 25 million copies in its first year and generating £1bn for developer Rockstar.
Online retailer, Amazon, sold out of the game, ahead of the launch.
It’s reported to have cost £170m, making it the most expensive video game ever made, eclipsing Hollywood blockbusters like Avatar.
The previous game in the series, GTA IV, is thought to have sold 25 million copies since its release five years ago.
