Young re-offender is arrested in Madrid after committing several serious crimes

RAFAEL Fernandez Garcia, better known as El Rafita, has been imprisoned.

Rafael, who took part in the murder of 22-year-old Sandra Palo in Madrid in May 2003, was arrested on Friday after two Local Police officers caught him and another youngster attempting to set fire to a stolen car.

Sources informed that El Rafita whilst trying to escape attempted to run over one of the officers, who had to be taken to a nearby medical centre with severe full-body injuries.

As a result, he was charged with crime against road safety as well and attempts to harm the officers involved.

El Rafita served a four-year sentence in a youth detention centre for the murder of Sandra Palo in 2009 and has been arrested in numerous occasions ever since.
