FINGERS CROSSED: Richard gets set for his gruelling ride.
RICHARD Clarke is set to ride165kms along gruelling mountain roads in aid of Help for Heroes.
Ex-British Royal Navy man Richard, has been living in Spain for nearly 10 years.
His cycle ride on Saturday will take him from Baza, Granada, to the Alhambra Palace.
Richard, aged 38, who lives in Caniles, Granada told the EWN: “As we all know our brave service men and women do a fantastic job.
“Some come back from war and some don’t, and some of those who come back have life changing injuries.
“I want to do my bit to help and raise money that will help put these people back on the road to recovery, it is the least I, and everyone else, can do for their service.”
Richard, who used to live in London, added: “This will be the first of what I hope will be many challenges I will do.”
Richard, who works as a tattoo artist, would like to raise €500 and hopes to take only one day to complete his mountain ride.
Every penny goes to H4H
